Industrial A Grade Electrician / Technician

AGG DOORS are looking to recruit an experienced, highly motivated A Grade Electrical Service Technician to join our team.

AGG DOORS is located in Hallam, Victoria in Melbourne’s South Eastern Suburbs.

The position is full time casual to start with-a view to go full-time require working occasional shift work, which may include afternoon, as well as weekends.

Responsibilities and Duties

PLEASE NOTE: Industry specific training will be provided.

The minimum requirement is an A Grade Electrical Licence.

In this role you will be required to:

Travel to sites to install or service and repair doors (inc. Counterweight doors, roller doors, roller shutters, roller grilles, sliding doors, sectional doors etc.) and automated door operators

• Product-use demonstrations to clients
• Liaise with Installation Service Manager & Co-Workers and clients in a professional and efficient manner
• Resolve technical or mechanical issues on-site where required.
• Available for emergency call-outs.
• Complete installation / service reports / Quotes
• Install, Automate, Service & Repair Industrial Roller Shutters.
• Install, Automate, Service & Repair Residential Garage Doors.
• Automate, Service & Repair Gates.
• Perform Fault finding.
• Install PLC control systems
• Build a Panel.
• Provide Electrical breakdown cover.
• Manufacture of main switchboards.
• Service Motor control centres.

Qualifications and Skills

Successful Applicants Will hold an A Grade licence and also possess the skills, knowledge Required licences of an A Grade Electrician.

To be successful in applying for this role you must fulfil the following minimal Requirements:

• A current A Grade Victorian Electrical License.
• The ability to understand Electrical drawings/schematics.
• Industrial site maintenance and fault-finding experience.
• Manual Driver’s license.
• A White Card and Scissor & forklift License would be an advantage as well as welding skills
